Rising Stars of the International Music Scene

Masterpieces of the repertoire performed by the finalists of the 2026 International Academy

Founded by Daniel Haefliger, the Swiss Chamber Academy has established itself as a remarkable success since its inaugural edition in 2014. Each season, around 80 outstanding young musicians from across the globe are invited to participate, free of charge, in an intensive programme of masterclasses and rehearsals. This artistic collaboration culminates in a series of subscription concerts featuring string quartets, string and wind ensembles, as well as vocal music.

Reflecting the values that have guided Swiss Chamber Concerts (SCC) for more than twenty-five years, participants explore both the classical and contemporary repertoire under the mentorship of internationally acclaimed artists such as Heinz Holliger, Thomas Zehetmair, Hatto Beyerle, Rainer Schmidt and Ilya Gringolts, to name but a few. In doing so, SCC actively fosters the next generation of musicians through a continuous dialogue between generations, encouraging them to strive for artistic excellence, to respect the integrity of each work, and to cultivate the deepest possible listening and musical interaction with one another.
