The SWISSCHAMBERACADEMY, founded by Daniel Haefliger, has proven its worth since its very first edition in 2014, and its success is undeniable. Each season, around 80 young talents from all over the world are invited to attend interpretation courses and an intensive rehearsal phase. This mentorship culminates in several subscription concerts featuring string quartets, string and wind ensembles, as well as vocal music.
In harmony with the values championed by the Swiss Chamber Concerts for over 25 years, participants explore both classical and contemporary repertoire under the guidance of internationally connected artists who regularly perform on the world’s most prestigious stages—such as Heinz Holliger, Thomas Zehetmair, Hatto Beyerle, Rainer Schmidt, Ilya Gringolts, to name just a few.
Through this initiative, the SCC actively support the promotion of young musicians by fostering a continuous dialogue between generations, encouraging a pursuit of excellence, a high respect for the score, and the deepest possible attentiveness to one another.
The Academy is entirely free of charge for all participants, some of whom may also receive financial support.
